Her career has been devoted to criminal defense. Her skills and experience shine in the courtroom, where she maintains the upmost professionalism whilst being unafraid to fight for you. She spent nearly 9 years as a public defender, and branched out into independent practice so that she could have the autonomy to operate in the way she knows is best:

What kind of cases does Alyssa take?
Alyssa represents adults accused of any sort of crime under California law. She has demonstrated excellence with complex felony litigation, and represented thousands of defendants in a range of cases, from the simplest trespass to murder and sexual abuse. Her jury trial experience includes successfully defending against: rape, kidnap, child abuse (“shaken baby”), and various other offenses.
Alyssa has relocated her legal practice to Plumas County, and is available to be appointed or retained on local cases. She is no longer accepting new cases in Santa Cruz or Santa Clara Counties.
